24 appearances (over 24 pages) from issue no. 1 (18/01/75) to no. 24 (28/06/75).
All were printed in black and white.
Along with The Headhunters (two pages) and Spookum Skool (one page), part of the four centre pages Skooldaze spread (apart from issue no. 15 when it was displaced by a competition and appeared on page 2). Generally assumed to be set in the Skookum Skool nursery (the rhyming couplet at the top of the page in issue nos. 1 and 3 reads “Skookum Skool’s the place to be – the funniest school you’ll ever see! ”), this is never acknowledged directly in the strip (although the Skookum Skool janitor does appear in issue nos. 12,17 and 21)..
Miss Bun is the teacher and her charges (often referred to as her ‘little angels’) are an indeterminate number of nameless and rowdy infants. Apart from issue no. 14 (where there are four frames), the layout comprises three frames with the final frame being almost a square the width of the page. The remaining frames above it set the scene before the children invariably run amok in a panorama of jokes. The format is similar to that used in early Hop, Skip and Jock strips on the cover of BUZZ comic
